Have you noticed that sometimes a teaching or passage of scripture you know well takes on a completely new meaning one day.  That happened to me this morning. I will just share with you what I read in my devotional One Bread, One Body today. I trust the Holy Spirit will move in you if He needs you to hear this in a particular way.

The devotional today is based on John 13:34 — “As My love has been for you, so must your love be for each other.”

Here’s the part that grabbed my heart:

“Jesus has clearly commanded us to crucified, sacrificial, unconditional love. He calls us to lvoe the Judases in our lives. He calls us to lay down our lives (1 John 3:16) in love, even for our enemies. THis new commandmanet of love is the essence of salvation, the meaning of life, and the way to the Father.

Prayer: Jesus, may I repent and accept Your heart of love for the person I love least.”
